About Us

Purpose of This Site

Primarily, this site was created as a place for Africans, naturalized African citizens of the United States and People of African descent to show support for Senator Barack Obama, not because he is black, but because he is the one we have all been waiting for.

Secondarily, this site is a place for people from all walks of life–blacks, whites, Hispanics, Asians, etc.–to share ideas on how to best help Senator Obama shape a winning discourse that will ensure his victory not only at the Democratic convention, but also at the General Election against Senator John McCain.

In this sense, this site seeks to act as an informal, unoffical source of strategic guidance to the Obama campaign, in the hopes that the various ideas and analyses that will come from here can help Senator Obama with suggestions on how to win debates, counter negative ads, assert his message on the campaign trail, and win the Presidency of the United States of America.

We will be analysing every debate, every speech, every word by Obama as well a every attack and slogan by his opponents, and propose the types of counter measures and strategies that will help Senator Obama become the President of The United States of America that we have all been waiting for. We are simply hoping that this site will catch the attention of the Obama campaign some day, and that they will look into it from time to time for inspiration on how to best ensure an Obama victory in November 2008.

Individuals with good strategic ideas and suggestions are free to contribute/publish their ideas and analyses on this Web site. (Read more on how to become an author on this site).

We are also hoping that readers of this site will simply support it not only by joining as members of the Unofficial Barack Obama Advisory Council, but also by contributing comments and suggestions that can be built into more strategic articles. You can also throw a small donation Obama’s way by simply clicking here.

Who is Behind This Site

This site is an initiative of Dr. Daniel Mengara, Associate Professor of French and Francophone Studies at Montclair State University, Montclair, New Jersey. As of Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008, date of the official launching of this site, Dr. Daniel Mengara had no ties whatsoever with Barack Obama. He is just one of those people who were inspired into believing again by Barack Obama. The cost of building this site were entirely borne by Dr. Daniel Mengara (Read his testimonial).
