History

The “Council” idea came to Dr. Daniel Mengara a few days before the “Super Tuesday” primaries on February 5, 2008. Because of what had often seemed to him as a failure by Barack Obama himself during the debates, and the Obama campaign on the campaign trail, to strategize a more effective way of countering Hillary Clinton’s attacks and “zingers”, Dr. Daniel Mengara thought of the possibility of creating an unofficial, informal blog/site where ideas and suggestions for the Obama campaign could be posted and discussed. After Barack Obama won the “Super Tuesday” and Potomac primaries so impressively, Dr. Mengara became even more convinced of the importance of a free thinking “Council” that could contribute “out-of-the-box” ideas and suggestions to the Obama campaign.

After bouncing the idea off a few friends, Dr. Daniel Mengara went for it. This Website is the result of this initiative. It was launched on Sunday, February 17, 2008.

Although we have no assurance the Obama Campaign will know of this Website’s existence before it is too late, we do keep hope that someday, somehow, somewhere, someone will point this initiative out to them and that they will take some interest in the ideas hereby expounded.

In the meantime, read Dr. Daniel Mengara’s testimonial.
